The primary objective of the scientific and practical journal "Medicine in Kuzbass" is to publish the results of fundamental and applied research aimed at preserving labor potential, treating and preventing occupational and work-related diseases in the working population, and maintaining and improving the health of the population of the Siberian Federal District. Of particular importance are materials in the following areas:

- studying the fundamentals of human reproductive health, assessing and forecasting the reproduction and loss of health in the regions of Siberia;
- hygienic assessment of social, environmental, and production conditions in Siberian territories, with the development of effective methods for the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of occupational, work-related, and general somatic diseases in the working population;
- studying the management and organization of public health systems, developing methodological foundations and techniques for formulating strategies and technological elements for implementing health programs, territorial healthcare, medical services, and organizations.

The journal's editorial board collaborates with leading research and educational institutions in Russia, near and far abroad on issues of public health and healthcare, occupational medicine, hygiene, occupational pathology, and physiology.
