Open Access Policy
The journal "Medicine in Kuzbass" provides immediate open access to its content, based on the following principle: "free open access to research results promotes global knowledge sharing." This means readers have permanent, free access to individual articles and all published issues of the journal, including reading, copying, printing, and posting on other electronic resources, including the internet, without the need for prior consent from the authors and publisher, provided authorship is indicated and a link to the source is provided.
Archiving
The journal uses the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to electronically archive all published articles. PKP PN is part of the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) data backup program infrastructure, which provides decentralized and distributed storage, uninterrupted access, and the restoration of the original version of content in the event of its loss by the publisher. Additionally, electronic copies of published articles are stored in the eLibrary.ru scientific electronic library and the CyberLeninka scientific electronic library. Mandatory copies of the magazine's issues are sent to the Federal State Unitary Enterprise NTC "Informregister" and the Presidential Library named after B. N. Yeltsin in accordance with Federal Law No. 77.
Anti-plagiarism Policy
The editorial board of the journal "Medicine in Kuzbass" opposes plagiarism in scientific research and articles and therefore strives to prevent: - citing any materials without attribution, including texts, images, drawings, photographs, tables, graphs, diagrams, and other forms of information presentation, in any volume; - using materials without written permission whose authors or copyright holders prohibit the use of their materials without consent; - compiling (creating works based on other people's research or works), i.e., excessive citations, even when properly formatted. The permissible citation volume, as established by the editors, is no more than 30% of the total article length. If, in the author's opinion, an article requires more citations, such cases are considered by the editors on a case-by-case basis; - publishing articles whose content is fully consistent with the author's other scientific materials (dissertations, author's abstracts, monographs, etc.). All articles are checked using the Antiplagiat system before publication in the journal. In some cases, the editors may conduct a more detailed check and engage additional tools and experts to detect plagiarism. The editorial board of the journal "Medicine in Kuzbass" strongly discourages authors from using any technical methods designed to enhance their author's contribution. The editorial staff has sufficient knowledge, technical expertise, and methodological know-how to detect such techniques. Articles that show signs of technical modifications designed to artificially enhance the uniqueness of the text will not be published, even if revised. The editors will notify the reviewer and the leadership of the educational or scientific institution where the author works or studies of the use of any technical methods designed to enhance the text's score in plagiarism detection systems.
