Abstract
A clinical case of hereditary hemochromatosis (NHC) in combination with chronic viral hepatitis C at the stage of decompressed cirrhosis of the liver is presented. Clinical manifestations of NGC with a progressive course, which was facilitated by hepatitis C virus infection, were shown. The importance of timely diagnosis of concomitant liver pathology (in this case, NHC and hepatitis C viral infection) for effective treatment, improving the quality of life and increasing its duration was demonstrated.
