СИНДРОМ ЭМОЦИОНАЛЬНОГО ВЫГОРАНИЯ СРЕДИ МЕДИЦИНСКИХ СЕСТЕР ФТИЗИАТРИЧЕСКОЙ СЛУЖБЫ И ОБЩЕЛЕЧЕБНОЙ СЕТИ В УСЛОВИЯХ ТРАНСФОРМАЦИИ СЕСТРИНСКОЙ ПРАКТИКИ: СРАВНИТЕЛЬНОЕ ИССЛЕДОВАНИЕ

Abstract

The aim of the research – to conduct a comparative analysis of the level of emotional burnout among nurses in the phthisiatric service and the general healthcare network within the context of increasing professional demands, including an assessment of the influence of long professional tenure.
Materials and methods. The study was conducted on a sample of 140 nurses (60 from the general healthcare network, 80 from the phthisiatric service) in the city of Novokuznetsk. Burnout syndrome was diagnosed using the V.V. Boyko method. Statistical analysis was performed using the Mann-Whitney U-test, Pearson's chi-square test, and Fisher's exact test in the IBM SPSS Statistics 23.0 software package.
Results. Burnout syndrome is a common problem among nurses, affecting 35% of the surveyed personnel. A trend towards a higher level of burnout was revealed in the general healthcare network (41.7%) compared to the phthisiatric service (30.0%), as well as a direct association between the risk of developing the syndrome and a professional tenure of more than 15 years. Consequently, prevention programs should be differentiated, taking into account both the specifics of work in different departments and support for experienced staff.
Conclusion. Burnout syndrome is a prevalent problem among nurses. Despite the absence of statistically significant differences between the groups, the identified trends indicate the necessity of developing differentiated prevention programs, primarily aimed at supporting experienced personnel and primary care nurses.
