Abstract
Doubling of the digestive tube is a rare malformation. in which its part is a cavity formation located next to a segment of the degistive tract, covered with a common muscle shell and having a common blood supply with it. For the first time, E. L. Potter gave data on the doubling of the digestive tract in 1961: 2 cases per 900 fetal and neonatal autopsies. Doubling of the small intestine occurs in 47 % of all intraabdominal doubling, of which 33 % is for doubling of the ileum. This article describes a clinical case of a congenital malformation of the doubling of the gastrointestinal tract in a child with a favorable outcome at the time of discharge from a surgical hospital.
