Abstract
The article describes the technique of extended ultrasound examination (UE) of the pelvic organs, abdominal cavity and retroperitoneal space for the purpose of topical diagnosis of deep genital and extragenital endometriosis. This technique is recommended by leading Russian and world communities of specialists in the field of diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis. Special attention in the article is paid to ultrasound diagnostics of deep endometriosis, correct measurement and description of all identified foci. The article is illustrated by own ultrasound pictures from the clinical practice of the authors.
