Abstract

Heterotopic pregnancy – especially the combination of uterine and tubal pregnancies, is a complex and potentially life-threatening pathology. Despite its historical rarity, its prevalence has increased with the development of assisted reproductive technologies. The disease is often asymptomatic, and the presence of a uterine pregnancy can make it difficult to diagnose the ectopic component, which is fraught with rupture of the tube and massive bleeding. In this regard, high alertness of doctors, careful ultrasound screening and optimization of therapeutic tactics, such as laparoscopic salpingectomy, are critically important to eliminate ectopic pregnancy and preserve uterine pregnancy. This article presents a clinical case of successful resolution of tubal pregnancy against the background of progressive uterine pregnancy during spontaneous conception.
