Abstract

Uterine myoma is a common gynecological disease among women of reproductive age. Less than 5% of myomas arise in the cervix. Although cervical myoma is uncommon, it poses a serious challenge to many gynecological surgeons. Limited surgical field, possible damage to adjacent vital structures, and difficult suture repair all contribute to an increased incidence of surgical complications during laparoscopic myomectomy for cervical myoma.
We present a clinical case of a 39-year-old woman with multinodular uterine myoma with atypical cervical location of large nodes. Organ-preserving surgical treatment was performed in the volume of myomectomy (enucleation of myomatous nodes) using videoendoscopic technologies.
