SECONDARY ABDOMINAL PREGNANCY AFTER ORGAN-PRESERVING SURGICAL TREATMENT OF TUBAL PREGNANCY (CLINICAL CASE)

Abstract
Abdominal pregnancy is a rare form of ectopic pregnancy that usually leads to an unfavorable outcome due to difficulties in timely diagnosis and should be detected early during routine antenatal examination. Laparoscopic surgery for early abdominal pregnancy, in contrast to its use in tubal ectopic pregnancy, remains controversial due to the high risk of bleeding at the implantation site. Therefore, the treatment method for progressive abdominal pregnancy should be individualized.
This article presents a clinical case of secondary abdominal pregnancy after a history of organ-preserving tubal pregnancy, which was successfully removed by laparoscopic surgery.
