Abstract
The World Health Organization defines «menopause» as the irreversible cessation of menstruation due to the extinction of the follicular function of the ovaries and a decrease in the function of endogenous estrogen.
In the practice of a gynecologist, the menopausal Green scale is not used at outpatient appointments in women's clinics to assess the severity of menopause symptoms.
Many women, entering the period of menopausal changes, consider the manifestation of menopausal symptoms to be quite severe, and hormone therapy is an unacceptable form of treatment for most.
