The non-profit Partnership Publishing House Medicine and Enlightenment was registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation on December 18, 2002. It was created on the initiative of the Governor of the Kemerovo Region to organize the professional work of its own competitive scientific medical periodicals that are effectively involved in the modernization and development of healthcare in Kuzbass, the Siberian Federal District, and the Russian Federation.

The subject (types) of the Partnership's activities are:

- publication of scientific journals "Medicine in Kuzbass" and "Mother and Child in Kuzbass", distribution of electronic versions of these journals on the Internet;
- the introduction and dissemination of scientific achievements and new technologies in practice by means of print, film, video, radio, television;
- promotion and assistance in providing high-quality (qualified) medical services to the population, healthy lifestyle, education, education, upbringing, environmental protection;
- conducting research, scientific, sociological and survey projects, works and surveys in the social sphere.

The staff of the Non-profit Partnership Publishing House "Medicine and Enlightenment" carries out:

- layout, layout, design and preparation of manuscripts for printing;
- bringing scientific manuscripts in line with the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC) of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the laws of the Russian Federation governing publishing and scientific journalism;
- creation of electronic versions of manuscripts for posting on the Internet;
- publishing of books, magazines, booklets, brochures, methodological materials, programs of scientific events and other printed products;
- production of print advertising layouts and their placement in periodicals published by us.
